Pipe Band Studies Certificate (currently in development)

The Pipe Band Studies Certificate will be aimed at pipers and drummers who wish to develop their expertise in how to create an effective Pipe Band. The Syllabus will include Pipe Band administration and leadership; education and training of players; Pipe Band tuning, tune selection, ensemble and musicianship; and planning and presenting Pipe Band performances. Access to the Pipe Band Studies Certificate will be open only to candidates who have already achieved the RSPBA Intermediate Certificate in Piping or Drumming; PDQB Level 4 Certificate in Piping or Pipe Band Drumming; or the National Progression Award in Scottish Bagpipes or Scottish Pipe Band Drumming: SCQF Level 6.
